Susah Tapi Mengasyikkan

Terinspirasi dari Blog Mas Jupri, aku jadi teringat masa2 ketika masih sering harus buka2 buku matematika.
Susah tapi mengasyikkan. Mengasyikkan tapi susah. Susah paham. Harus di-ulang2 biar paham. Untungnya, meski susah paham, aku tidak termasuk orang yang "paling susah" untuk paham.
Harus bikin corat coret, rumus praktis, tips2 tertentu. Ya, memang mengasyikkan.
Dalam pelajaran matematika kita sering berkutat pada huruf "X", "Y" dan "Z". Entah berapa kali ketiga huruf itu muncul dalam buku2 ilmu pasti. Yang pasti, mengutak atik X, Y dan Z sampai ketemu jawabannya memang menarik. Tapi dalam 4 tahun terakhir, kita musti juga perhatiin dua huruf lainnya yang tak kalah populer. Karena selain muncul di buku, kedua huruf tersebut juga sering terpampang di headline koran, spanduk demonstran, muncul di berita TV, dibaca reporter radio n etc.. Ya, dua huruf itu adalah "S" dan "B", berpasangan dengan huruf Y.
Jadinya : ………… SBY.
Anak kecil sampai kakek nenek yang gak bisa baca tulispun, sering menyebut S dan B.
Mungkin suatu saat, para matematikawan Indonesia perlu membuat suatu formula, persamaan atau apalah dlm matematika dengan memakai abjad S dan B untuk menyaingi kepopuleran X dan Y.
Kalo huruf S dan B dikombinasi dengan abjad Y, bisa jadi nanti ada "Persamaan SBY", sebagaimana "Persamaan Pithagoras".
Gimana, tertantang untuk meng"eksplorasi" SBY?
